Instead of blindly complying with unconstitutional decrees from the federal government, over a dozen U.S. governors have vowed to resist Joe Biden’s authoritarian vaccine mandates.
Of course, it’s worth noting that all of the governors speaking out against the mandates thus far are all Republicans.
The Governors of Arizona, Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Wyoming have all expressed their defiance of Biden’s announcement since the announcement Thursday night.
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem was among those taking a stand against tyranny immediately upon Biden’s national address to declare a vaccine mandate for federal workers and contractors, as well as all employees of private businesses that have more than 100 employees.
“South Dakota will stand up to defend freedom,” Noem promised. “@JoeBiden see you in court.”
Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp declared his intent to “pursue every legal option available” to fend off “blatantly unlawful overreach by the Biden administration.”
Governors weren’t the only lawmakers vowing to defend the individual rights and freedoms that Biden threw to the side in his announcement yesterday. Dozens of senators and congressmen also slammed the dystopian mandates.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) tweeted on Thursday, “Joe Biden’s COVID vaccine mandate completely ignores the science and is an attack on Americans’ right to privacy. The feds have NO AUTHORITY to force employers make their employees get vaccinated.”
These are just a few comments made by GOP lawmakers that intend to fulfill their duty to defend their constituents’ rights as they were sworn in to do.
Hopefully, the number of lawmakers opposing the mandates continues to climb in the coming days, across both sides of the political aisle. It’s time for Americans to come together to defend the one thing we all have in common: freedom.

Thousands of people marched against Joe Biden and De Blasio’s mandatory vaccine mandates in New York City on Saturday.
“We will not comply!”
Protesters chanted “F*ck Joe Biden!” before a woman does some pole dancing.
Protesters also chanted “My body, my choice!”
Blacks, Latinos, Asians and Whites chanted “no vaccine mandates!” as they marched in The City.
