The Make America Great faction of the Conservative wing, despite their controversies, had one thing right over the years of growth into becoming the most influential voices of the Republican party. That was the war on pedophiles and child rapists.

For years Americans listened as influencers like current Deputy Director of the FBI Dan Bongino, and current Director of the FBI Kash Patel ranted on in their videos or podcasts about the wealthy and powerful clients of infamous child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

I surely took part in exposing this very legitimate conspiracy.

Viral posts were shared across social media and with mainstream media even playing their part, albeit with bias, the news spread across the globe.

Even Donald Trump ran on a promise to expose all files and documents related to the case, including a list of the shady elites involved.

Here we are, six years later from the date of Epstein’s hardly believed and highly questionable “suicide”. Trump is now president for the second time and the American people have been waiting for over six months for him to make true on his promise.

What do we get instead? Photo ops, talking points, heavily redacted documents, and lies.

Let’s start with the facts of the matter. The American right wing has always been lousy with pedophiles. The GOP’s longest running Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastert, sexually abused teenage boys when he was a teacher and wrestling coach. His fellow Republican Congressman and former wrestling coach Jim Jordan protected a pedophile from prosecution.

Another GOP congressman, Matt Gaetz, reportedly used the services of underage prostitutes and “adopted” an underage Cuban boy. Edward Coristine, one of Elon Musk’s DOGE kids, who were tasked with destroying the U.S. government’s ability to function founded a child porn sharing website. Four of the pardoned January 6 rioters, who are relevant here because their behavior identifies them as the MAGAest of MAGAs have been convicted of sex crimes, including sex crimes against children and possession of child pornography.

This represents a pattern. Conservatives, and in particular Trump conservatives are often ousted as pedophiles and seem to be otherwise enraptured by the idea of rape. Correlation doesn’t imply causation, but in this case, we can very easily see the causation in the ideological underpinnings of MAGA.

Defenders of the right may claim that it’s just one opportunistic narcissist, but polls seem to indicate the opposite. It’s good to remember that Trump’s rating has increased among Republicans after it became apparent that he may be a pedophile complicit in Epstein’s blackmail operation. This indicates that the pro-Trump right wingers more broadly are as a general rule pro-pedophilia, pro-crime and probably a slew of other disgusting things.

As evidenced by its embrace of the Tate brothers, MAGA is an ideology which apparently approves of sex trafficking. You might be tempted to assume that they’d limit themselves to the rape of women, odious though that alone may be, but their further embrace of Costin Alamariu (a homosexual Jewish neocon better known as Bronze Age Pervert) and their support for Putin’s Russia, who both espouse male-on-male rape as core values indicates that MAGA is not averse to some good ol’ fashioned dedovshchina either. After all, what could be more trad and masculine than anally raping your subordinates in order to assert your authority?

At the core of this love affair with rape is the notion that authority is absolute and that to challenge authority for any reason is heresy. Hence when some of them claim that a man has authority over woman, this insinuates the authority to rape, and the woman has no recourse. When a man has authority of other men, this also includes the authority (nay, the duty) to rape them, and if they object, well that is just liberalism.

This sounds bonkers, but this is precisely what right-wing thinkers unburdened by the need to speak cautiously say. Mike Maxwell of Imperium Press has claimed for a long time that any desire to control or restrain authority is ontologically evil and can only result in liberalism.

When confronted with the fact that the logical endpoint of such a worldview is the Fritzl household, where Josef Fritzl locked his daughter in a basement, raped her over a period of 24 years until she produced seven children (and then raped her in front of them) all Mr. Maxwell can do is tepidly agree, but then hastily claim that most parents wouldn’t go that far.

So, is it any stretch that if conservatives believe that raping women is a-ok (it boosts the birthrate, you know) and if they believe that raping men is a-ok (it asserts dominance, you know), then they’d also approve of the rape of children?

In fact, the Fritzl case may be the logical conclusion of right wing mores on sexuality and family. Josef Fritzl imprisoned his daughter in a basement because she was a wilful child who wanted to run away from home. She wanted to run away from home because he’d been raping her since she’d been 11.

Fritzl’s hapless wife was supposedly ignorant of both the rape and the subsequent imprisonment of her daughter in the basement, and saw nothing suspicious about “foundlings” appearing on her doorstep as Fritzl brought three of his seven children/grandchildren “upstairs”. Truly the kind of air-headed tradwife that doesn’t ask too many questions and submits to her husband’s supreme authority.

Of course, every society on the planet has had parents with authority over their children, and in every society on the planet, it is expected of children to obey and honor their parents. But every society on the planet also reserves the right to take away the children of those unfit to be parents, such as for example people who rape their own.

To the MAGA mind, this is an intolerable violation of patriarchal sovereignty. The so-called longhouse is the community stepping in to stop you from exercising your God-given right to rape your own children. But of course, when you believe bullshit like “might makes right”, then certainly children, who have no might should logically have no rights.

This article focuses on close-kin pedophilia because that’s the overwhelming majority of child molestation. When defenders try to muddy the waters of pedophilia, they try to ignite stranger danger type moral panics, insinuating that pedophiles are unknown to the victim, roving from town to town in windowless vans and luring children with candy.

Children, of course, are not stupid and they don’t usually enter strangers’ windowless vans. No, the bulk of child sexual abuse takes place at the hands of trusted authority figures and family members. Uncles, fathers, mothers, pastors, teachers, coaches, priests, camp counsellors. People that the child is taught to trust and respect.

These authoritarian right-wingers demonizes the “willful”, disobedient child, then acts shocked when the child complies with the sexual advances of a pedophile priest. And make no mistake, the right, and especially the evangelical often right expects children to be obedient little robots, as demonstrated in this rather disturbing account.

It’s also notable that the author of this text went through a Christian upbringing from hell and grew up to become a prostitute.

Some day soon, the obese, old and infirm Trump will be gone. However, what he will leave behind is a Republican Party which has gone to bat for the rights of billionaires and those they deem as “heroes” to rape children. This culture war of the Trump era has also produced the ‘New Right’, which is becoming increasingly openly pro-rape of adult men and women and somewhat more clandestinely pro-rape of children.

But this pro-rape and specifically pro-pedophilia culture rose specifically because MAGA had the inclinations to stand for the right of pastors, teachers and even fathers who rape children.

Even pro-pedophilia libertarians (a branch I admonish with every fiber of my being), stupid and disgusting though they may be, at very least are focused on lowering the age of consent, rather than eliminating consent as a factor in human sexual relations.

And of course, if we eliminate consent as a factor, then what stops us?
